Following the departure of Josh and Zac Farro in 2010, the band released their self-titled fourth album in 2013.
It gave the band their first career number one on the US Billboard 200 and was also the number one album in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.
It included the singles "Still Into You" and "Ain't It Fun", with the latter winning the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for Hayley Williams and Taylor York as songwriters, making it Paramore's first Grammy win.
Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has said she feels “more free” following the departure of Josh and Zac Farro.
Later, she moved to Tennessee and went to different school, where she met her future band members, The Farro brothers.
But Williams, who briefly dated Josh Farro, has assured fans that Paramore’s remaining members will continue and have started work on a new album.
"I guess we're just going to do it really right this time.
It's going to be fun to kind of just not have to think about what someone's thinking about me," she told MTV News.
"I know that, for me personally, I'm just gonna feel, and I don't even mean this in a negative way to Josh and Zac, but I'm definitely starting to feel a lot more free about myself, and I think maybe that's just me growing up, but the people I have around me - Taylor (York) and Jeremy (Davies) - I feel very supported and loved, as a person, and that's a rare thing in this world." Meanwhile, York assured fans that he wouldn’t be seeking to replace Farro’s roles in the group, which included songwriting.
Paramore are due to return to the road in South America next month, where they will be joined by temporary members Justin York and Josh Freese.
